I've come to the conclusion in life that I'll never be happy unless I'm doing something creative. Cooking, painting, sewing, reading and writing, it doesn't really matter what I do, as long as I'm making things. And so, rather self indulgently, I've decided to embark on a creative odyssey and blog about my progress.

Today's post starts with an update so far: I've got myself a studio space in a place called 'Enjoy the Voltaire' and I've bought myself a load of new art materials. I've also lined up some nice little projects to get me going. I've just finished making my friend a bridesmaid's dress, which I'll post a picture of soon, and I've been commissioned to draw a picture of my boyfriend's parent's new house. So for now it's all systems go!
